Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is a TV show on ABC. It’s a show about the peacekeeping and spy agency in the Marvel Universe. But with their recent tweet, what could it mean for the show?

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Twitter recently posted this tweet about something of the Marvel’s comic being “out of this world…far out of this world.” Fans are left to speculate on what it means.

Possible ‘Out of this World’ Theme

Basing on the show’s Twitter post, we can only interpret this. The main characters of ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will go to outer space. The teaser photo tells that they will be on a spaceship with a window displaying the myriad stars. Also, the ship had the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo.

This is then confirmed in the Marvel News posted on the same day. Indeed, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.  will set forth to space in continuation to the season four which ended last May.

About Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Given the trend of the last four seasons, this September 2017 is supposed to be the month for a new season. All others started on the last week of September for the last five years. All also ended in May the next year. Every season comprised 22 episodes.

However, given this, why there is no new fifth season for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Unfortunately, there are no valid reasons as for why it’s running late.

The Twitter photo held no other details except that it will air on Fridays this coming winter 2017. Also, one thing to be noted is that the episodes will air on Fridays unlike the Tuesday’s screening of the last four seasons of the TV series. Ultimately, the fans are left waiting when will be the air date for the fifth season.
