Just this morning, Marvel released the trailer for their upcoming movie Black Panther. As mentioned above, the film will be released in theaters this February 16 (for the United States). That’s plenty of days to prepare folks!

Black Panther the Movie

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie stars Chadwick Boseman as Prince T’Challa also known as the Black Panther. Prince T’Challa is the heir to an old ruling dynasty of African Kingdom Wakanda. If you plan on taking a vacation adventure to the place then better take note of the reality that Wakanda doesn’t exist in Africa or anywhere in the world map. So sorry!

As the trailer suggests, it will mostly follow the story path of the comic. It was pointed out that this movie will be Marvel’s first solo film starring a non-white dude. Hoping the racism police won’t barge in. For the cast, this will be an iconic moment for having a majority of black casts for a major blockbuster.

Many fans got excited for the movie, especially with African heritage. The film gives a new twist for the image of the Africa not being just a third world, poor and struggling country. Wakanda seems to be futuristic and well advanced, but hidden.

Movie Synopsis and Trailer Teaser

It was also talked about before that the movie takes place after Captain America: Civil War. As the story goes Prince T’Challa returns to his country after the events of Captain America: Civil War. As he returns home, he is now facing a new challenge: to be the new leader of his country. It seems that he is battling factions within his own country, trials that he must overcome before sitting at the throne. Another challenge that came upon him, foes with a plot to destroy his home country. To prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war, he then teams up with CIA agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces. With that, he became the Black Panther.
