In the video, the developers described how the new game fared in comparison with the last games. Indeed, Infinite features a new mode of fighting for the first time in 15 years. Instead of 3 versus 3, a bold decision was taken to favor the two versus two gameplay. Thus, highlighting the partnership of the characters which is the game’s core. Since this is a crossover game, a collaboration between the primary and partner characters are prioritized as compared to assists.

According to them, the legacy of Marvel vs. Capcom continues to this day because people are still passionate and enthusiastic when it comes to the Marvel legacy and Capcom legacy characters. The development of the game was timed right as per fans’ clamor for a new installment several years back.
