The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia
You read that right! The secrets of the game now revealed! Your favorite childhood game gives you the ultimate nostalgia. The game that you were obsessing in and made you sleep late at night just to beat it. That game is now getting an encyclopedia. All in courtesy of Dark Horse Comics in partnership with the makers of the game themselves, Nintendo.
The encyclopedia showcases the world of The Legend of Zelda. It will be a massive compilation from the first game series down to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, all first thirty years of it.
Dark Horse spoke in their blog that it would contain 320 pages of concept art, maps, background images, and screencaps. It also includes details about the characters and their relationship with each other, and not to mention, the enemies. Don’t forget those potions, items, and poes too. Everything and anything under the Legend of Zelda Universe! Also, that’s not all, as an added bonus, they add in an exclusive interview with the game’s series producer, Eiji Aonuma.
The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is the last of The Goddess Collection Trilogy. Perfect with the other components of the collection, specifically, Hyrule Historia and Art and Artifacts.
Hyrule Historia and Art and Artifacts
Hyrule Historia contains, as specified in its name, the complete history of Hyrule. Firstly, it includes an introduction from the producer and video-game designer of the game, Shigeru Miyamoto. Next, it also includes a detailed story of Link’s adventure in the creators’ point of view. Finally, as a bonus, it includes an exclusive manga from the game’s mangaka himself, Akira Himekawa.
Art and Artifacts focus on the thirty-year history of the Legend of Zelda. Next, it also contains details on the Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild! Things covered here are all from the promotional art, character illustrations, box art, instructional booklet arts and sprite art. Finally, they add in interviews from the artists themselves. Indeed, life in the artist point of view.
